We’ve been meaning to put a few videos up here for a while, but we’re often a bit busy actually putting gear away to take videos! Well this weekend we managed to take a quick video of the Ostrich wing going away. Apologies for the rubbish shaky handheld vid! As you can see, it really is a one man job. The video has been edited to make it a little easier to watch but real time was 5m17s. As you can see, we had all the legs, guy ropes and pegs out – on a still day you don’t need to put these out. The “Peggy Pegs” are drill driven which makes life so much easier – these are the soft ground ones and you can also buy metal hard ground ones for rocky/tough terrain. They cost a few pounds from camping shops, eBay or Amazon. The wing is available from Tuff Trek (http://tuff-trek.com)
